Some information.....

It has come to my attention that there's a good chunk of my music that's pretty old. When I look at the list of free music I have up here on the site, I have to admit that about half of the songs are older than two years and in some cases older than three or four years. I'm thinking I need to update that list to reflect that. (I had a computer crash a couple of years ago and lost all the original files for many of the really old tunes.)

Seriously though... Those tunes are really old. I don't even make music the same way any more, so I hope you'll give my newer stuff a second chance.

I just got a bad rating on "46 Messages" at CNet, so I'm feeling a little burned at the moment. Of course, my download counts have dropped seriously there as well. I'm getting the feeling Orphic Endeavors' day in the sun is done. That's okay though... I still get 1000 downloads a month right here on the website. That means there are some of you guys out there who still like the music. Thanks for listening and downloading and giving me feedback. It's great to know some people out there still like the tunes.

Since all this hurricane business, I really haven't had the chance to work on my newest tune. I started it just before Ophelia came to visit, but then after the storm we plugged the computers back in and two of them were fried, so, after a visit to the computer repair place, I'm just now getting back to work on the new tune. Hopefully I'll have it up very soon.
