Okay. So. I did put "Sleepy Morning" away the rest of the day, but
later, just before bedtime, I pulled it out again and played with it
some more. (Hey, if nothing else, I figured it would help me get sleepy
so I could go to bed.) I figured out I could open the Anvil Studio built
midi file in the demo of Finale SongWriter, so I did. At first it
sounded awful. I had two piano bits in there that played back garish and
painful in Finale, even with the "Human Playback" thing involved. So I
played around and tested various sounds until I got what you can hear
now. I like this version. I didn't have to add reverb or anything.
So.... Even though I love Anvil and it translates well to other
programs, I just have to get Finale Songwriter. HAVE TO... I have some
birthday money left, and they give you a discount on your purchase when
you get the free Finale Notepad, so, it's going to run me about $50.
That's the last of my money. After that I'm broke again. *sigh* I feel
guilty about spending the money on myself, even though it's my birthday
money... We are a pretty poor family after all... Guilt guilt guilt....
:(
Anyway, here's the new version of the tune: Sleepy
Morning (on Finale)
And, as always, thanks for downloading
and listening...

(8:16pm and I just noticed a typo.
You know, I need a spellcheck when I write on this thing...)
