I made a new poster measuring approximately 10.5" x 22.5" of my new Orphic
Endeavors angel drawing, "icon". Here's the link to the page: "Icon"
at Zazzle. It looks amazing framed, but buying it framed is expensive.
You can buy just the poster for $13.95. Not too bad as art posters go...
Hmmm...
Let's see... In other news, in a few weeks I'll have a link up to a new
project by Severed
Head that's using Orphic E.'s music. Looking forward to that.
Here's
some depressing news... A day or two ago I contacted a record label but I
never heard anything. I'm thinking I probably did everything exactly
the wrong way. I didn't discover until after I'd emailed the
company that you should send CDs first and not links to pages with
downloadable tunes. *sigh* The CD issue is going to keep me from being
able to get any farther I'm afraid. Until I can solve the money issue in
order to get the CDs made I'm not going to be able to progress any more
than what I can do here on bpgisme.com and on OMDs. So, I'm going around
putting music up at OMDs I haven't used before. Why not, right? More
exposure. That's exactly what I need.
I really can't tell how well any of the new tunes have done at CNET. I put up "Something in the Air" "A Murder in the Chapel" and "Daytime Dreaming" and quite frankly, all three are doing better here on this website than anywhere else. (Thank you!!!!) I am, as I write this, transferring several recordings to the computer I've made over the last few days. There was a terrific thunderstorm last night in the middle of the night when the house was quiet so I set up the digital recorder in a window and got the whole thing!
One last little bit of news... My mom plays piano and she's been saving some really old music theory books for me so they're going to pull those out and give them to me over the weekend! She says they are the best ever written on the subject so I'm really looking forward to it. They're old too and I just love old books. I'm hoping my more structured orchestra pieces will get even better with a little knowledge.
Anyway, I guess that's it for now.
Thanks for downloading and listening.
