I'd trying to create a podcast. I really have no idea what I'm doing or if this will work, but here's the deal. Right here are the links to two versions of a "radio show" (no words by the way... only music)... One is an mp3. The other is a feed... an XML podcast thing. The show is exactly one hour, two minutes and eleven seconds long. I was trying to make it exactly one hour, but it went a little over. Anwyay, here is a link to the direct mp3 file or you can choose to use the XML thing. It's made up of (in order of appearance):
A Murder in the Chapel
The Watertower
Black (version 2)
Dark Angel
Bombed Out Cathedral
Darkening Bells
Gone
Sleepy Morning (the sleepy over-six-minute version)
Daytime Dreaming
Mitsumushi
Evening Song
Sunday Night
Soar
Something in the Air
Leaves
There is additional material including a very short piece titled "Four Walls", an untitled piano and cello piece, and intro, outro and midway piece and various recorded sounds and bits of music from over the years.
It is intended to be played softly as background music, therefore I deliberately have the volume low on the entire thing.
Anyway, whether you download the mp3 or choose to play the podcast (if I can get it up here) I hope you'll enjoy it. It was fun to put together.
So, without more of my rambling, here is the mp3 version:
January 2006 podcast:
mp3 version (58mbs)
And here is a link to the XML podcast:
Orphic Endeavors - January 2006 podcast XML
Please let me know if the podcast thing doesn't work. Again, I am really not too sure if I did this right.
Thanks for downloading and listening!
