ICON is now at CDBaby

And is being processed. They got the CDs Friday. I wish very much I could have sent the usual five to start, but I could only afford to buy two nice ones from Cafepress, so I only sent two to CDBaby to get digital distribution. I really need to find a cheaper way to get CDs made. If anyone has suggestions please let me know. Meanwhile, in order for the digital distribution to work the way it should I'm going to have to remove most of the tracks from ICON off of the various OMDs. "Mitsumushi" was used on a trailer, so I can't very well remove that one from the internet, but most of the other tracks are going to be removed. Don't worry though! I've got a plan to repopulate the OMDs and the music download page with new OE music! None of the tracks from "Abandoned Hospital" are going to be released before the album is, (though you get to hear one of them on the music video), so I'm also working on some singles to put up at CNET and here on the site and Soundclick and so forth. I've actually worked on several, one I finished before I got started on "Abandoned Hospital".

Also, I've been doing lots of work in some other stuff too. I've been reading the advice at CDBaby and following their suggestions. I just added the review section and an explanation of what my music sounds like (at least half the time anyway) and one of the other things they recommend is a way for you guys to interact with the site... Whether by comments or a messageboard or a guestbook... So, I'm trying to find the best solution on that front. Another thing they suggest is a mailing list. I'm not a big fan of newsletters and mailing lists, so I'm not so sure I like that idea. Basically, they say to get names and email addresses of fans so I know who my fans are and that way I get the word out fast... I'm not sure about that one yet, so I'll have to think about it, but I will find a way for you guys to interact.
