Well.... No. It's not finished yet. Sorry. I do have 645 frames completed however. It's slow going at the moment because to complete this turn I started back around frame 175 or so I had to go into Moray and manually change the camera angle, point by point. I'm doing virtual stop motion apparently. Anyway, 750 of the frames are finished in Moray, and 645 have been rendered. I just have to render the 105 or so to finish the rotation and then I can continue my way through the spaceship in just Povray which goes much much faster. I'm adding a spaceship flyby at the beginning too so I'm thinking it's gonna be another week before it's publishable. And when it is, I'm submitting it to CNET as well as posting it here.
By the way, just for comparison, the video I made for "The Lighhouse" was only about 400 frames, with only 259 actually rendered images. The rest were altered versions of the same 259 images mixed in to pad it out. You can see it clearly when you watch it. "Gravity" is going to run rings around "The Lighthouse" as far as quality goes... I may have 1500-2000 frames when it's completed.
I have an iTunes link now, but I have no idea if it works or not. Here's it is:
ICON by Orphic Endeavors on iTunes
If you have iTunes and you try it, please let me know if it works. I would be one very happy person if it does.
I'm dying to make some music, but I can't do too much while rendering the video. I mean, I'm using a Compaq computer here... We aren't talking about a powerhouse machine or anything. It just your average home/family use model. I like it though. For now.
Anyway, thanks so much for downloading and listening!
