Yes. After three months and lots of broken promises "Gravity" is
completed. I just submitted it to CNET but it takes a long time for
videos to appear there so I have to also put it up here. Odds are you
guys will see this thing long before the folks at CNET will.
It
was built using an embarrassingly still not paid for Moray 3.5, rendered
frame by frame using Povray 3.6. (I didn't use any automated processing
because I couldn't figure out how to get the animation thing to work!) I
put the pieces together in the really old freeware version of Ulead GIF
Animator 2.0, then I opened them in Swish 2.0 and saved them as an AVI
file, opened up Magix Video Deluxe 2.0 and put all the pieces together
with the music and here it is. Finally! Wow! What a job that was!
The
first one is a whopping 50 something megabytes, but any worse quality
and you can't see the stars at all. The second version is still big at
20mb. I'll try to get a lighter version up as soon as possible. (Magix
has a bug and sometimes loses things when you close the program. It lost
sections when I tried to open it to make smaller versions this morning.
I'll have to go back in and fix everything before I can render the
littler videos.)
Anyway, enough chatter! Here it is! Just think
of a guy in space dreaming of being home on Earth with both feet on the
ground.
GRAVITY
Windows Media format - 50.2mb
GRAVITY
(lite) Windows Media format - 19.8mb
Thanks for watching, downloading and listening!
